Year end review (31-12-22)
Hey there cool cats and/or kittens.
2022 is almost at an end, so it seems fitting for me to do wrap up of sorts for a year which has certainly been a year, both for good and for bad.
Firstly, I know that this website needs updating. It’s in the works.
Secondly, it’s been a proper grand year royalty wise. Thanks for Indie Nation Network and New Village Video, the films are still making change. Not anything I can live on, but it’s still awesome that people watch and pay for this dreck.
Thirdly, I came close to selling a script this year. I will sell one next year. That is my resolution. I know some people will scoff, but I willed myself to make a bunch of films and I did that so I’m going to sell a script damnit.
Fourthly, there’ll be a new book on Amazon at some point. It’ll be a book about my experiences making these films. I’ll keep y’all posted.
Finally, next year will see lots of new projects. There’ll be Barbatachtian: 1985, there’ll be a Christmas film (those make good bank at Christmas time), and I’ll be aiming to make a bigger film. Not sure which one yet, but I’ll be pushing for it.

My Apocalyptic Thanksgiving (3-8-22)
Hey there ya’ll.
It’s shilling time.
Not mine. Not today. No, I figure I want to do more blogs here but I only have so much to shill myself, so I’m gonna promote other peoples work. It’s generosity, or something. Or they’re just that grand. One of the two.
Also someone rented the film on one of the sites its on, so I made money.
Anyway, here’s the trailer for My Apocalyptic Thanksgiving (4K) which I really, really enjoyed and am going to try to track down the full film.
This looks funny and heartwarming, and has zombies in it. I’m going to go try check out the full film, and I suggest ya’ll do the same. Gotta support these awesome looking indies when we can!
Barbatachtian Updates (08-06-21)
Hello.
I know that’s rather simple and base and, well, I have been gone a while, but now I’m back. Or should I say we’re back. Yes, we, plural – so mentioned because it’s true, and apt, and after all isn’t that the desired goal of all humans; to be plural, true AND apt?
No?
Well, anyway… the site is getting a kick up the old proverbial ass because I, after another attempt to get this film on Amazon that has failed, have decided to go full indie spirit and make my own luck. And this is part of that plan.
Stage one is the rather fantastic news that the film (Barbatachtian) not only has a brand new cut, but has a brand new cut which will be airing EXCLOOSIVELY (hey OSW Review, how you doing?) on this rather nifty new streaming service called Indie Nation Network that will be launching soon (and you best believe I will be promoting the Hell out of that.
Stage two or stage zero given it came before stage one, is this site getting the aforementioned kick up the ass. Hence the new logo, which looks amazing, and a general clean-up over the next couple of weeks.
There will be more stages AND updates on Barbatachtian Returns coming real soon, but for now here is the NEW trailer for the NEW version airing EXCLOOSIVELY on the NEW Youtube channel. Shiny, am I right?
