Well, we have a website.

The film has been live on YouTube for over a week now, so it makes sense to have an official website. For those who don’t know, I am Ian Austin and this is a site for my very first film “Barbatachthian” and, very likely, future films that I will be making.

But for now, let’s focus on “Barbatachthian” shall we.

I could say this is a film that I’ve been wanting to make for years, but that isn’t true. While I did always want to make a film, this particular film only sprung into action during the whole CoVid pandemic of 2020. Which, if you’re reading this in the future, hopefully is long over and we’re back to midnight screenings of Marvel films which people, such as yours truly, yell “holy shit, why is The Hulk making a dab gesture?” at the cinema screen.

I’ll go into more detail on the about page, and in future blogs I’m sure, but the long and short of it is that I DID make a film, I am PROUD of the film, and I damn sure am going to make more films. Including a sequel to this one.

But that is a story for another day.

For now, I hope you enjoy the site. Barebones as it is, it’s another item to cross off my list of goals. If you’ve already seen the film, I sincerely thank you. If you haven’t. I highly recommend you do so. After all, if you can’t laugh at someone improvising dialogue while playing multiple characters and trying to direct a film and trying to remember the continuity of the blood required in each scene..
